Data Advantage Hospital Indicator Report™
Look to this four-section,
severity-adjusted report for a detailed performance analysis of each
hospital in your state. Key statistics are compared to their
"expected" values (the severity-adjusted averages for each
hospital's MSA, state or region) for the top 50 volume DRGs and all
MDCs.

-- Key Indicators
This section provides a summary of the number of cases and
per-case averages for LOS, total charges, total reimbursements,
total costs and total profits -- by hospital.
- Section Two --
Other Indicators
This section presents other important performance indicators,
including: ICU/CCU LOS, patient ages, discharge destinations,
outliers and severity.
- Section Three -- Charges by Ancillary Department
This section provides a detailed breakdown of the average total
charges by ancillary department. The report
shows three lines of data: 1) the actual averages per case; 2) the
"expected" averages per case and; 3) an "index,"
which is the actual average per case divided by the expected average
per case.

estimated costs by ancillary department. This report
